Here are different ways to get bells easily!
1) Hit a rock with a shovel and bells will spurt out but to get more money, dig a line of three holes in the ground behind you when you are facing the rock. There should be money coming out of it when you hit it with your shovel but if there isnt, leave the holes in the ground so you know which rock you have been to so you can eventually find that money rock! NOTE: You can only get one money rock a day and they aren't always at the same rock.
2) If you are more bothered about getting money than collecting fossils, this method is quite good for bells. Dig up fossils and other items you find underground. Sell them; fossils can be very high prices, i once sold to fossils and got 10.000 bells! The gyroids to also sell for a fair bit of money but as muc as fossils. NOTE: Before you sell the fossils you dig up, get Blathers to check the fossil first otherwise you hardly get anything.
3) You have to have obtained a golden shovel for this tip. Get out your golden shovel and dig a hole in the ground. Get some bells (if you bury 30.000 bells it is guarenteed to work) and bury them in the hole. There will be a little baby root of a tree. That is your money tree! You get 3 times the amount of money when it has grown fully! NOTE: You must water the tree at least 3 times for it to work.
4) This is what I did and I got about 200.000 each time from doing this. I cut down all of my normal trees and plant them with foreign fruit (not native fruit), and then cut down all of your native fruit trees but leave one tree left and plant them with another foreign fruit or the same you used before. Let the trees grow (but if you cant wait, fast forward time by selecting the phone and the character selection is the attic) and then shake the fruit off and sell them to Nook and each pocket full equals 7.500! Keep doing this until you sell all the fruit except your last native fruit tree and you get loads of bells each time!! NOTE : I find it easier with a friend helping but make sure the are trust worthy!!
